Families hear “migration seat” and picture a clean jump into year three in Tashkent.
What actually happens is quieter: a receiving university reads your papers, compares syllabus overlap, and decides how much of your prior study it will recognise. That decision is the product. Everything else is logistics.
Fresh admission vs migration
If you have not started medical study yet — FSc / A-Levels, MDCAT pending or done — you usually belong on the fresh Uzbekistan MBBS route. See Study in Uzbekistan.

Mixing the two in one WhatsApp pitch is how people pay the wrong fee for the wrong file.
What “transfer” can mean in practice
- Later-year entry when overlap is strong and the university accepts the pack
- Lower-year entry when gaps are large
- Fresh year-one offer when credit recognition is refused
All three are legitimate outcomes. Only one of them matches the brochure sentence agents like to send.
Documents that decide speed
Incomplete files create false urgency. Before you ask anyone to “confirm a seat”, assemble:
- Year-by-year transcripts
- Subject lists / syllabus where you can get them
- Secondary certificates
- Passport
- Prior admission or enrolment proof
Expect certified translation. Universities and ministries do not chase missing pages for you.
PMDC still sits on the critical path
Migrating into Uzbekistan does not delete Pakistan’s rules if you want to practise here later. Read MBBS abroad — the PMDC rules nobody explains before you treat a foreign seat as a finished career plan.
Order still matters: eligibility, NOC timing, accreditation, then the licensing exam on return. Credit transfer abroad does not rewrite those gates.
