Can I transfer from Pakistan into an MBBS programme in Uzbekistan?
Sometimes — it is case-by-case, not automatic. Uzbek medical universities and the relevant education authorities review your prior transcripts, syllabus match, and documents. Some applicants enter a later year; others are offered a lower year or a fresh first-year seat. We assess your papers before anyone pays a deposit.
Who is this migration pathway for?
Pakistani students who have already started medical or related study (in Pakistan or another country) and want to continue in Uzbekistan, and families exploring mid-course entry rather than a brand-new first-year admission. Fresh FSc / A-Level applicants usually belong on the standard Uzbekistan MBBS route, not this page.
Will my previous years count fully in Uzbekistan?
Not guaranteed. Credit recognition depends on syllabus overlap and the receiving university’s decision after document evaluation. Plan for the possibility of repeating a year. Anyone who promises a specific year placement before transcripts are reviewed is selling hope, not a process.
Do PMDC rules still apply if I migrate to Uzbekistan?
Yes, if you intend to practise in Pakistan later. You still need a valid route under current PMDC policy for studying medicine abroad — typically including eligibility criteria such as FSc Pre-Medical thresholds and MDCAT, a No Objection Certificate obtained before you rely on the foreign degree for registration, and an appropriately accredited university. Migration into Uzbekistan does not bypass those gates.
What documents are usually required for a transfer assessment?
Typical packs include academic transcripts for years already completed, detailed subject / syllabus records where available, secondary-school certificates, passport, and any prior admission or enrolment letters. Documents often need certified translation. Exact lists vary by university — we confirm before you commit fees.
How long does a migration assessment take?
Document collection on your side is usually the slow part. Once papers are complete, university review can take several weeks. Visa invitation timelines are separate and can add further weeks. We will give you a written sequence for your case rather than a brochure promise.
Is migration the same as transferring back into a Pakistani medical college?
No. Coming home into a PMDC-recognised Pakistani college is a different process and usually involves the National Equivalence Board (NEB) pathway and vacant-seat rules. This page is about entering or continuing MBBS in Uzbekistan from a Pakistani starting point.
